Memorial day Parade and Historic Dedication of a German Captured cannon presented to an american city Cornwall This footage of a parade in Cornwall New York, has some nice footage of life in the teenies in New York, where a town bustles in preparation for a parade. I liked the fact that there is a lot of patriotism in this, lots of US flags everywhere. The parade itself is ok, lots of soldiers marching (WW I finery I guess?), there’s also Boy scouts and I think girl guides and women’s clubs. Then they all meet for a reenactment of the surrendering of the German Gun. What’s so strange about this is that there’s no one, except for the odd person, WATCHING this parade. But then I realized that everyone in the town was probably in it. 15:01 ……………..
